Population of the New Orleans flood evacuation zone: 500,000
White folk as a % of evacuees, San Diego: 66%
Black folk as % of evacuees, New Orleans: 67%
Size counts, too. Size of your wallet, that is:
Evacuees in San Diego, in poverty: 9%
Evacuees in New Orleans, in poverty: 27%
The numbers would be even uglier, though more revealing, if I included evacuees of the celebrity fire in Malibu.

New Orleans flood deaths: 1,577.
California celebrity fire deaths: 5.

OT QUESTIONS
New to FSTV with Questions
Sorry Truth, but as a newbie, I didn't know how else to get ?'s answered.
1' I have several (8) people pipcked out to be on my buddy list. Those that seem to me to result in interesting opinions, invigorating disacussion, etc. I definitely don't agree with all but enjoy learning new opinions. Unfortunately', I don,t know how to ask them to be buddies. I see things they have written, but find no option to add them as buddies.
2. Why if I add someone as a buddy, aren't they a buddy of mine. Feels lonely if I am trying to establisah a group of friends to argue with, learn from, get close to. I.E. You Truth are my Buddy, yet I am not yours.
3.don't see a way to search for a name, or send a private email, or chat, when I PERHAPS find their name in a thread, it seems I have to write a reply' totally off-topic to ask about Buddies and I don't even know if THEY or I can add Buddies from there.
