BUSH, should have learned something from Coretta Scott King, and her husband Rev. Martin L. King Jr., on Love and Hate!

Coretta Scott King's words, life, and legacy, is a role model for the problems plaguing our individual lives, community, state, nation, and world. This was exhibited by her deep love for Dr. Martin L. King Jr., and humanity through the Non-Violent Movement.

It was this love that motivated her not to strike out violently against others for the murder of her late husband on April 4, 1968, in Memphis Tennessee. Instead, she focused on the words from her late husband concerning love, hate, terror, and peace.

As a result she refused to label others as unpatriotic, racists, thugs, axis of evil etc.
MOREOVER, PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH COULD LEARN A THING OR TWO FROM BOTH HER AND HER LATE HUSBAND REV MARTIN L. KING JR.,

And although, Dr. King’s speeches were given decades ago. They are as applicable and alive today as they were yesterday.

Dr. King’s words are very much needed in our present WAR IN IRAQ. Mr. Bush has made a mess out of our beloved nation around the world. In contrast to Dr. King who reached out beyond boarders and boundaries for the good of humanity. He said:

“We’re not going to win this battle of hate and terror by hating other folks. Hate doesn’t help the hater and it doesn’t help the person who hates. There is something about hate that hurts the hater. Somebody must have the power to transform through love. You just hate somebody and you are as uncomfortable and as frustrated as the person you are hating.

There is something about hate that keeps you from walking straight; something about hate that keeps you from standing up straight. And when you hate you can’t see straight.

When you hate, you lose your power of objectivity. When you hate somebody, you can’t see them. When you hate strong enough, the ugly becomes beautiful and the beautiful becomes ugly. A good speech becomes a bad speech, and a bad speech becomes a good speech.

When you hate strong enough, hairpins begin to sell for $1,000.00, and diamond rings for 5-cents, because that’s a wrong price tag on things. There is something about hate that does something to the hater so our way must be a way of love.”

Truly, Corretta Scott King proved that she understood the true meaning of love, patriotism, freedom, justice, equality and forgiveness. Through her work, life, and legacy the dream lives on and PRESIDENT BUSH should listen to somebody’s words as America sinks deeper into isolation....
