Cal Thomas Columnist, writes on Senator Obama, (GBRhynes 007-2, Responds)

My Fellow Americans!

Columnist Cal Thomas “Tribune Media Services” article published in the Valdosta Daily times on January 19, 2007 read "Barak Obama,American idol."

Then Mr. Thomas addressed the senator as: “Sen. Barack Hussein Obama Jr.,” in his comments about the senator. However, Cal did not provide his own middle name or identify if HE is a junior or not.

Mr. Thomas said that part of the attraction and seductiveness of the senator perhaps is that he is mostly a blank slate, a liberal Democrat, favors abortion rights, gun control, tax breaks for the middle class, and is part of an ideological strain. Then asks does the senator believe activist judges should interpret the Constitution.

Mr. Thomas spoke of qualifications, experience, respectability and the worldview of a president. And does Obama have such qualities with only two years of experience in the U.S. Senate, and should voters exert blind faith that Obama is up to the challenge of serving as president?

Did Mr. Cal (?) Thomas (?) ever question, the qualifications, experience, respectability etc., of President George W. Bush during either of his presidential campaigns? So what’s up with this?

The American people sent a strong message to congress recently that voters are fully capable of speaking for themselves. In the upcoming election the voters will decide who will be their next Commander-In-Chief.

If Cal wants to see an experienced presidential candidate. Then I will show him a former president who have served in the Oval Office.

So Mr. Thomas should not get stuck focusing on Obama’s middle name. If he could not see our current president lack of qualifications prior to taking office then he may need to see an optometrist, and then explain to his readers.

Why have over 3,160 Americans perished, 22,000 wounded many with missing limbs, 600 civilian contractors, 100,000 Iraqi's and over 300,000 Iraqi civilians been killed in as a result of false information provided to congress, the American people and our allies around the world? Say?
