dish tv ripoff

Recently I like many others became tired of the evey other month cable rate hikes from comcast,so I decided to do something about it.I searched around and came across an ad for the DISH at dish network.apon calling them, prices were quoted,$59,95 for a month for the super 200 stations.add on a one time fee of $50.00,$5.00a month for local channels,$5.00 a month for each receiver, you get two of them.they run two t.v.s each, if you want to hook up any more you have to pay $70.00 for another box.at least with comcrook I could hook up 10 t.v.s if I choose.for the price of one.every morning at 3:00 sharp the program you are watching goes off as a screen appears telling you that "the system is powering down to gather info about itself if you want to continue watching your program push no" if you are too slow on the no button your picture turns to snow. you have to turn it back on,wait 10 minutes while it powers back up, wait another five minutes while it accuires a signal, and finally you are ready to resume watching a program you have missed 15 minutes of. add on a service fee of $5.00 a month and you have the dish. Two nights ago my dish did not power back up leaving an attention message on my screen that is still there. when I called them I was told that I would be charged a $29.99 fee for them to come and fix it.after using a few curse words , she said she would wave this fee as a courtesy but I would be charged the next time. so to sum up this warning if you think you have it bad with comcrook or any other cable company.believe me when I tell you that having the dish is HELL, BEWARE.
