who exactly is a decent democrat? Perhaps Kucinich or Russ Feingold or the late great Paul Wellstone, I guess.
Also, have you met any members of Al Qaeda lately? Haven't seen any myself. But people like you act as if they are hiding around every corner, hanging out under your bed waiting for us to cut defense spending just 5% and then poof! they'll attack again.
very paranoid, perhaps you should turn off the Fox News for a while and look at the world objectively with your own eyes.
Also what are our real problems?

By decent, I mean a quality candidate who is not radical. I'm sure the next question will be what is "radical" but anyways...
No I have not met any Al Qaeda lately but I'm sure they're a great bunch of guys and gals.
Real problems?...How about the mess in Iraq, unstable economy, election reform, immigration issues, national security, health care reform......I think you would be disgusted by how much we agree on. I just have a real problem with all the "Bush is the devil" thinking that is anchoring the Democratic party. I'm just looking for a presidential candidate that I can really believe in. Perhaps it's a pipe dream.
cheers.

"What is radical?" to me is a fair question. Personally radical to me is someone who upholds the constitution, since we don't seem to have many people in elected offices who are willing to do that, and they tend to be attacked by pretty much everyone.
Bush isn't the devil. He's not as bad as Saddam was, or Kim Jong-Il is. Whether or not he's evil, I don't know. He seems rather likeable in non-political moments. All the compliments in the world won't change the fact that he lied to get us into a needless war, for reasons that no one knows even 4 years after the fact. He did nothing after Katrina. He did nothing after 9/11. I mean really, he's not the devil, he's an imbecile. He's in way over his head and has been for quite a long time now. Let me put it this way, if I had to choose between Nixon and Dubya I'd take Dubya every time. Doesn't say much I know.
Now that I think of it you piqued my curiousity. Who would you consider to be radical in American politics today?

how can any of you subscribe to this propaganda? you are the reason we cant get a decent democrat elected. this whole production is laughable, however i do enjoy watching. it gets me fired up to do something that will actually make a difference. even though i am as upset as anyone about the way iraq has played out...never forget that al qaeda will gladly shoot a hole through any white sheet you may hold up. stop dwelling on the election you feel was stolen and start working on real solutions to our problems.
