Just wondering if anyone caught the FSTV airing of the political doc, "Divided We Stand"? It last aired January 6, 2008 and was also telecast over several days in 2007. I'm the director, Tom Drew and was interested in any feedback. Also, I was thinking of updating the intro to the doc, which is set in 2004 against the backdrop of the Presidential election, and would appreciate some feedback on this front too.
The idea would be to reframe the doc intro by briefly touching on the current slate of 2008 candidates and political/ cultural divide in the US before making the transition back to 2004 and the doc roadtrip exploring the country's divide. If you've seen "Divided We Stand", wondering if you think the new intro idea would work and is in fact necessary?
