FSTV Lover crises

Hi. My name is Jennifer, and I'm a 25 year old single mom.
I'm an all or none type of gal, so since I now have comcast instead of DISH, I don't watch the news at all.
I refuse to watch coperate dependent media because Comcast refuses to air the truth aka FSTV. I don't need the lies.
I will be watching Democracy now on the computer as soon as I have another driver installed. Currently this piece of crap won't allow sound or video.
-_-
You can also watch a fair amount of Free Speech TV's programming online (when you replace your current piece of crap). I get most my news from various internet sources... I feel the same way you do regarding corporate media.
Yes. But you see, my computer has no sound.
I really miss Dyke TV * KeyNote

Does Comcast carry LINK tv? Hubby has been wanting to switch to Comcast and I have thought about it since Link also broadcasts Democracy Now which is basically where I get my news. After watching Democracy Now one sees that the other major new outlets are just fluff and that they are contriving to hide the truth more than deliver it. They tell so little of the whole story it amazes me.

Eek!

I stopped watching t.v. news except for FSTV about a year and a half ago. TV news is propaganda. I don't particularly find all of the FSTV news interesting, but they are more likely to cover political events that are likely to be ignored or hidden by t.v. I sometimes listen to my public radio station for the news. Mostly, I read the newspaper so that I can go to the new that I want and skip over the rest. Mostly I read the Opinion section and write my views to the editor about once a month. A few other liberals write, so at least some analysis of what is happening gets into the paper that is not slanted towards maintaining the status quo.

FSTV Lover crises

I watch FOX as wall as FSTV, and have found that FSTV tends to focus only on conspiracy stories, while FOX as well as the other networks tend to only repeat the line they are given by the whitehouse. Only through critical observation of a variety of programming can we hope to glean the truth. I have been trying to get the University of Illinois at Springfield to air FSTV in hopes that a broader spectrum could be presented to the campus. I love most of the programming on FSTV, Democracy Now is one of my favorites. I have emailed my local pbs affiliates and requested that they carry Democracy Now, I would suggest others do the same, when Amy cites FSTV as well as the other affiliates that carry the programming it could clue more people in on our little gold mine of information.

I think FSTV should be broadcast Free to air so anyone who wants to see it can see it with out supporting corporate media. Please see my post in the Kitchen Sink section. Thanks

I feel about the same way if I had my choice I would be able to get Fox news channel and watch Sean Hannity tell the truth INSTEAD of these FSTV lies
