George Carlin on Voting

A Platonic Reverence

It is not fair to the memory of George Carlin to assume that he didn't ask his audience to think. It is not about having a spin contest to boost or degrade the memory of someone who contributed to the lexicon of our nation. One can revere, wax nostalgic or learn the true lesson behind his humor, but to condemn a person's memory to sainthood or pure infamy is the worst commission of profanity. He and others have had their wisdom profaned into some sort of twisted aberration that bears no likeness to the original context.

George Carlin made his audience think about the current events independently of the propaganda roar that screams at our faces every moment of every day. I find this attempt to characterize the memory of Carlin a dismissive, distasteful revilement of a true teacher of thinking.

Never has anything or anyone mattered so much to the survival of an entire planetary existence in the universe.

Strictly speaking
Mr. No more playing with extinction for the filthy money hoarders and bloodthirsty plunderers.

Hi Dar, Hi Remy

Any of the people I mentioned in the subject would be preferable to me as president than a repugnant or cigar smoking democat. Well anarchists can work together so I'm going for the lesser of evils here. McCain calls Obama a socialist because he wants to redistribute some of the wealth back to the people who make goods and services by working with their hands and minds to do something beside rip everybody off to benefit their own elitist greedy spoiled child minds. We've had Reverse Robinhood socializm since the Reagan trickle down scam. After the anal retentive money grabbers, war profiteers and Pharma-medical corporations who profit form death and sickness, have bought their government and profited from doing so, it is time for a change. Forbes magazine even says the rich bank over seas and cheat on their taxes far more than the rest of us. This time I'm voting OBAMA maybe by the next election cycle I can vote for somebody that I believe in and trust who will have a chance to actually be elected. As far as votes go, Obama will win just like Gore and Kerry did. As far as cheating their way into office, it remains to be seen until late tonight maybe a month or two from now.

Thanks Dar!

No kidding. I wouldn't vote for these clowns if they paid me, and if they did pay me I'd still go vote for Nader just to be symbollic. I'm happy to say I resisted the urges of friends and foes alike to join the Obama campaign, and Mccain is simply nuts (he's confident now, and if he's confident at this very moment it means he's delusional. Even less reason to vote for him) So like the great George Carlin said, when Obama wins and fucks this country up even more I'll have every right to complain. Thanks for paving the way George!
