Group Owner/Moderator Privileges
My group has subscribers without profile, how is it possible?

I posted a journal entry this morning, and an important one at that, only to be informed after I clicked "submit" that I would have to wait for site administration approval because my post had been identified as potential spam.
I want to know why......after over 2 years of good standing in this community as a group owner, as the one who lead the charge against the continuous spamming this community experienced, I am now required to get site administration approval of my posts.
I do not believe it is too much to ask that this community's administration provide an exemption to those of us who have proven that we are worthy of trust. Why would I spam the community I worked to prevent spamming in in the first place?
I have to say I do not appreciate being treated this way in a community where I have been a member in good standing for over 2 years and have participated in on a regular basis in an appropriate & meaningful manner.
I am insulted by this and request that it be remedied with all haste!

is up now. We do have spam filters to block commercial spams on our community. However, I'm not sure why your content get filtered as potential spam though... Sorry about that.

Thanks for the response/apology, although I figured this out! While I appreciate the spam filters in place after the problems we had with spam in the community I do hope I will not encounter this issue again.

I remember when we had even more freedom than that, but I understand that a little bit of control in the wrong hands could be anti-productive.
However, Responsible group owners such as you and I, really should be given some degree of latitude in these areas, as we have both proven to be seriously concerned, and genuinly active with regards to our groups.
Some groups were formed and thats it, No aditional activity has been recorded. But to us seriously active group owners, who take an active roll in this web-sites daily operations and ovwerall health should be re-considered for Admin privileges.
Lets put it to a vote Truth?
Dar and I have both been members for years, serious ones at that. Way back when you first installed geeklog™ (Wich was a far better platform IMHO).
And could we do away with the title "MANAGER" this isn't a true value hardware store. LOL J/K

I still don't have my full moderation privileges available.....I have asked several times now to have them re-instated.....is it me? There was a time when I had the ability to delete spam posts, not just report them as spam....again I ask that you re-instate my full owner/moderator privileges or please explain to me why they are off limits to me.

We haven't changed any of our group manager's privileges recently, however we upgraded our community open source software about a month ago. Even if we haven't modified our users' privilege levels, there might have been some areas that fell back to the default settings. We might have to tweak those again to restore certain things for group owners. I just made quick changes on a couple of things. If you still experience the same problem, please let me know which specific areas in a group setting that you have trouble accessing as a group owner. Thanks a lot for your support and patience.

Please give those of us who create/own/moderate groups here administration privileges for their respective groups! I had these privileges for a short time, and now they have disappeared again! What is that all about? On any other site, if I create a group/forum, I have the administration privileges that belong to that group....why do I not have these privileges here on the fstv community? Please restore my group administrative privileges so I can manage my group & it's subscribers appropriately.
