Gun Control does not work

I really hate to show my ignorance about all this but I am simply a neophyte at knowing shit about them. In fact to be honest, I have never even armed one...let alone fired one. Does anyone know if the greater the megatons the longer it will take for the device to go off or should I just get the one which goes off in the smallest amounts of a billionth of a second even if it is only a few kilotons? If I fire it from a row boat at the eye of a bumble bee would it throw my aim off if a mosquito got in the way? If I can only afford an aiming device device which at 8,000 km is only accurate to with in a meter what would I have to fear in the way of retaliation if I make a preemptive strike? Normally I am against a population arming itself but in the case of weapons of mass destruction I think we would all like to see everyone have their own...since only the criminal element has them as of now.

I also think that 7 year old girls should all be allowed to pack a rod....otherwise only 9 year old boys will. Because it has already been conclusively proved that boys not wearing a trainer bra...does not stop young women from developing breasts.

Well Blue, you may have found an issue we might just somehow agree on. I loves me guns. Not because of "protection", but because I loves to shoot me guns, at paper targets, or trees, for no good reason other than it's fun.

Other nations are more peaceful, some of them own just as many or more guns (per capita). So it is possible for the citizens of a nation to own guns peacefully and safely. Gun control of course, as you know is a joke. Like any criminal will tell you, 'I don't follow any other law, why would I follow this one?'...

But that's just me, I also loves me swords, daggers, and to be honest when in a knife fight there is nothing more intimidating and scary, then an oak baseball bat filled with nails, and a blade, almost like a much shortened halperd... But that's some serious digression...

The only question I have, is would you kill someone who threatened to take yours away? Because if you would, wouldn't that justify taking it away in the first place? Just a thought.
