How can i get Democracy Now! on my local PBS station?
Thanks for posting this question. Democracy Now! currently distributes to 5 PBS stations that I can identify at: http://www.democracynow.org/stations/view_all/tv
My recommendation is to gather the support of other local community organizations that you believe share an interest in bringing DN! and FSTV to your town or city. Then I would offer the PBS station references, and point them towards the FSTV Affiliation Program website at: http://www.freespeech.org/html/affiliates.shtml
where they can get more information on the best way to get DN!. FSTV repeats DN! every weekday 4 times at 8a, 12p, 7p, and 12a ET, however DN! is also available one time each weekday via C-band satellite.

I wrote to my local PBS station to request that they consider broadcasting Democracy Now! with no reply. Should I consider writing a letter once a week? Is it time to picket?
I believe that a free and independent media is THE answer to holding govt and corporations accountable and I'm ready to become an activist. I'm willing to go it alone if necessary, what can i do?
