how do we get the media to report the truth? do we invite them? challenge them ?

You get them to turn their backs on agendas and opinion reporting. There are effective ways to control the media, just not sufficient numbers to make it an actual possibility. So in my opinion the best way to start is by talking to people. Show them how unreal the media is. It's easy around here, and maybe you have a similar situation. Every time there's a shooting within a square mile of the Highschool in my city, they make it seem like it was in one of the classrooms. This is easily discredited. Start with local and do a lot of heavy work researching the things that happen, then challenge people's thoughts that you know to be untrue. Before you know it you have a new ally, and they're challenging thoughts as well and so on until the majority has had enough of the lies. All of it is about how well you can organize people and how you convey the message. To change the media you must first take on the fingers and toes, then wrists and ankles and pretty soon (hopefully) the heart and brain, if you know what I mean. Local affiliates is where it's at.
