I Went Shopping

Many of us are thinking about buying the last few Christmas gifts on our list for family and friends. War profiteering families again will see realestate, luxury vehicles,and exotic things worth more than our life time earnings under their trees due to 9/11; whether it was an inside job or not by the way. Some of us just don't have jobs and can't affort to take care of ourselves let alone buy presents. Still many others who would normally be healthy happy humans are dead and others are missing arms and legs so those blind to human suffering can have it all. Even if he certainly was not born on the 25th of December, please think about some of the humane things that Jesus said this Christmas, like love your enemies and treat others the way you wish to be treated. Although I consider myself more of a spiritual evolutionist, and celebrate the winter solstice about as much as Christmas, I love those Jesus sayings and I try my best to live by them. This is a time of year when it is natural to think about the people you know and love. Let us also think, pray and give loving thoughts to our entire human family and all life forms on our beautiful living planet. Peace, Love and Happiness Ken
