I'm Gay this isn't spam, My Belief in God and Being Gay

And again if you read this blog pleas post a simple comment, feed back is everything. Whether you like it or not. This is me and what I think. This isn't spam, for God's sake. I keep reading the guidlines of this site and the point systyem. I don't want to be suspended by first day for expressing my free speach. lol. That was a joke, by the way. So anyway Here goes.

I believe God made me Gay for a reason (and considering the fact that I'm Agnostic is something to behold). Believing in God and being Gay can coexist (in my opinion). Believing in God for me is Spiritual, a sense of Consciousness that gives my life more fulfillment. Believing in God and believing in religion are too separate things. I love God, and am spiritual, (I don't believe in religious bureaucracy and don't belong to any religion)

Religion and God is very complicated. I believe a person doesn't need God or Religion to be a good person and have a happy life. But for those that need help, Religion is beneficial even though it is imperfect

No one is perfect. I'm full of fault and work each day to improve myself to be a better person. Is there a God? I would like to think that there is. Do you need God in your life to be happy and fulfilled? I don't believe so. I believe Inner Peace comes from within. Not all people have this understanding (an understanding that a God exist and can love you regardless of your religious beliefs, and can give you peace to your life) and religion gives those people help and enlightens. Many people lack the Understanding of 'Right from Wrong', and many of those people are in prison or in Mental Institutions. They need help and Religion "with it's Morality can help them", even though it is inaccurate, it can be a good tool to help people without Morals in our Society ( when I talk about people without Morals, I'm talking about people that don't know right from wrong, being Gay is right, but like my Ex-boyfriend that is in Prison, he lacks what most of us have, the common knowledge of what is wrong and right, he is bi-polar.)

So is homosexuality a sin? No it isn't. The question is no longer ‘gay’ or ‘straight’ but an issue of love in the relationship. First and foremost, is this relationship encouraging both partners’ spiritual growth and relationship with God?” And second, is this a relationship loving and healthy for both parties? God is not concerned with the superficial things that worry us. She/He does not care what our sexual orientation, gender, skin color, or church affiliation is. These things have no meaning to God. He/She goes straight to the heart of the matter and simply asks the question, “Is this relationship based on, and operating in, My love or not?”

I don’t want my life to be controlled self centered attitudes that can harm my relationship with God and with others. According to the Bible of the the Christians/Jews (old Testament) I believe the Bible even though full of misconceptions and written by men without the current knowledge of the world and science that we currently have, does contain morals that benefit our society, is that sin separates me from God (2 Corinthians 6:14; 1 John 1:5-7) and I don’t want to be separated from God!

But what exactly is sin? If I took a poll of every church and denomination out there, I would find a different opinion from every one of them! Everybody seems to have their own idea as to what is right and what is wrong! So if I wanted to rid sin from my life, where would I start and whose list should I follow?

So is trying to do ‘the right thing’ a lost cause? Have I come full circle? Yes and no. I cannot earn my way to heaven (if there is a heaven) However that doesn’t change the fact that I still want to please God and find His will for my life. So how do I do that?

If you lack a life of understanding and fulfillment, I think I have found the heart and soul of God's will (for those that want a Christian spirituality). If you study the issue further, you may find that this same “royal” commandment (James 2:8) lies at the heart of both the Old Covenant (old covenant = Matthew 22:37-40) and the New Covenant (new covenant = John 13:34). God has never changed (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; 1 John 4:8, 16), only His instructions on how I should carry out His will have.

Why is this so? Because I have changed over time and the cultures I live in are different from one another. I don’t face the same problems the early Patriarchs faced. Nor were the Apostles encumbered with some of the things I have to deal with today. Each generation and each culture is different. What may be a loving act in one culture may be cause for war in another! In spite of our differences, I have been given the same basic principle to carry out in my life. That being that I am to...
Matthew 22:37-40

"Love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Matthew 22:40

“These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Simply put, I am to love God first, and then I am to love others, as we love ourselves. If I embrace and follow this belief, I am following God’s will for I am not living in sin. The Apostle Paul put it this way:

Galatians 5:14

“For the whole law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in one precept. You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.”

Romans 13:8-10
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Therefore sin is simply this: if I do not love God and don't put Him first in my life, this is a sin (according to religion, but even more important not that it is a sin but a lack of self esteem). If I mistreat others or myself spiritually, emotionally or physically, it is a sin. Love is the basis for all of God’s laws, old and new. Sin is the absence or distortion of this love. Peace. nonsense...

All of this is nonsense.

Don't read this because your not going to like it anyway.

First off, that is not the correct translation of what is written in either of the One and Only Truly Inspired Book of God...and of course by that I mean The Egyptian Book of the Dead, The Tibetan Book of the Dead or The Apocrypha or that other book I just can't think of the title to at the moment but which everyone knows IS the only book we are all really talking about.

But if you are going to continue to keep talking like you are, tracer, I am sorry to inform you right now that you will never get to Nirvana OR Nirbana OR any other way that it is spelled. Furthermore, by what authority do YOU claim to be the sole judge of what spam is? Because I am sorry to tell you that one man's spam, as you call it...is another man's advertisements and another man's junk mail. So perhaps you should leave the definition of just what constitutes spam to those who are more qualified than you or I to know just exactly what is meant by it. Secondly I beg to differ entirely with, what I believe was your eighth or twelfth premise, for religion is neither complicated nor not complicated...if you know it is poo poo.

Furthermore, your youth belies a certain amount of panache which is obfuscated by your innocence of facts you either would rather not discuss...or are irrelevant. So is delivering heating oil on the sabbath a sin? No it isn't unless, and here is where your logic took a tragic turn for the worse or the political right, you consider gathering wood on the sabbath a stoneable offense. However if you are one of those young people who wants to use drugs then I guess you know all the answers or at least some of them...which is exactly my point and which when you mature I am sure you will agree with me is not right...it is on the other end of the spectrum of the continuum which we are talking about.

Nevertheless, tracer, I refuse to be drawn into an argument over micro-biology because this is neither the time or the place for that either and I think such subjects should only be discussed among people who have a clear understanding of small biology as opposed to astrological predictions about the plausibility or the deniabliity of a life in the hereafter as you have obviously suggested by your implication of the existence of angels.

However, your contention that no one is perfect belies a belief that everyone is imperfect which also does not follow because how can anyone know everyone in the biblical sense. And why should I believe you have an ex boy friend in prison? Because you told me he is your ex? What if he still considers you his boy friend for then what am I to believe? As you can see we could all go round and round the mulberry bush until we all fall down...but you sound perfectly alright to me.

Such an asinine

Such an asinine simplification of the bible, is it not? I'm afraid the fact of the mater is that the book does denounce homosexual attractions as immoral. For example, we have 1 Corinthians 1 6:9-10, which lists homosexuality with adultery, idolatry, sexual immorality and drunkenness among other sins. In Leviticus 20:13 the death penalty is demanded for homosexual behavior.

Technically, it lists

Technically, it lists "softness".

You're right.

You're right.
