Is America ready for a Black president or will SHE ever be?
Presidential candidate Barack Obama has created much controversy in his bid for the oval office of the United States of America.
Moreover, it was reported that only forty-five percent of Americans believe that America is ready for a Black president, while fifty-five percent believe that America is not ready for a Black president in 2008.
This should not come as a shock forty years after the murder of Rev. Martin L. King Jr.; we must remember that the majority of Americans were not ready for integrated schools, voting rights for Blacks and women, outlawing the brutal lynching of Blacks, segregated lunch counters, public schools, separate public facilities, equal employment under the law, civil and human rights, abolishing the idea that Blacks were three-fifths of a human being, stopping the exploitation of Blacks, Jim Crow Laws etc.,
In fact, if Jesus returned today many Americans would say that he was either too early or too late. Therefore the American people must reject the politicians, media, religious leaders, war mongers in our beloved republic and do the right thing by standing up for the best in the American dream.
Moreover, we must reject the FOX Machine in the hen house, the Bush on top of the Middle East oil wells, and the large corporations that are leading our nation to its doom. While many nations around the world are disappointed by our foreign policy in the Middle East and around the world, our allies are asking what has happened to the American people who once stood as a beacon of hope for all oppressed people around the world. How sad, in 2008.

Its time to stop talking about how America wasnt ready all them years ago. If you think we're ready, go and vote. We all took history in high school. And stop blaming FOX news. Just because they're right wing, (somebody gotta be!) dont mean the're evil. They like it when people talk about old shit like aint nothing changed, but its up to you what changes.
