Dear Web friends : Listen I'm not a programer or even a Gamester Geek ? I'm just an Ordinary Guy who has hobbies a home and even a dream or two left intact I still Fantasize about but what I can't help but truly wonder is exactly what have the more intelligent people been thinking ? Did they are think that the Big Company GURU's and market analizers were sleeping ? did you all really think these SOBs who would sell there grandma for a greater market share were looking at Bill Boards along thruways COME ON YOU HAD TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE OF THESE NOTIONS TAPPING AT THE BACK OF YOUR MADULA ? So My question is why Bitch about now Why not just rejoice that this is just another one of the failed people friendly avenues We had that was built with all the very best intentions and turned OUT LIKE SOME 10 DOLLAR STREET WHORE !!! IMAGINE If you will the look on there faces when they looked down one day and noticed there accounts were all busting at the seems then looked up at eachother and said with amazement Can you stand it ? Can WE DO ANY WRONG ? so with Gasoline so far out of reach that the notion of "FILL IT UP" is all but history, take the normal everyday Looser who Busts his ass at an hourly paying Job and has a take home pay that actually barely gets him home then sits down to figure out his bills ands says HOW CAN I DO THIS THE LEGAL WAY ? HOW ? If the average family is unlucky enough to live in a part of the country that has some pretty harsh winters THEY ARE DOUBLE TIME SCREWED ! CAN YOU IMAGINE with 3 kids and Milk almost 4 Bucks a gallon then Heating oil at 3.18 per then Gasoline at 3.24 per ? Now say int's November and you have a 275 Gallon tank But the Oil Company that you had for the last 15 yrs has a new policy that they will not deliver if you have an outstanding balance so you pay off your outstanding balance then find out that the minimum delivery is 150 gallons COD Now ad the Balance you paid to the New Delivery balance and just to get some heating oil you had to come up with the 375 dollar balance plus the 450 dollars you had to fork out for the new delivery, So in order for a regular guy to heat his home so his kids can get up in the morning before school wash there faces and bruh there teeth there Mom and dad had to fork over 825.00 and that 150 gal. will only last a little over 4 weeks before another delivery is needed and thats keeping the Thermostat set at a LOW 60 degrees so the house is a bit chilly at times ! How do WE THE PEOPLE do a single thing to stop anything ? When it is actually painfully Obvious that WE HAVE NO POWER WHATSOEVER and that the imagined power is all just a Frecking illusion that Our Cash can't PURCHASE BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH OF IT ! If WE HAD well then maybe things would be a bit different . My country has fallen and i can't get up because they don't want it to !

I like the video a lot and was about to post it on my Independent Media Blog but lost interest after reading the text on the campaign page.

can't help but point out the irony of hosting it on goozle's youtube ;) (sorry) ... great video though :)

Lets make sure this "our web" is inter-operable with the many other open projects emerging in this space (activistvideo.org, riseup.net's crabgrass, indytube, miro/participatory culture foundation work etc) Decentralization and secure data re-usability are just as important as open source code base. Lets aim for enabling lots of free worlds rather than one free world to unite them all ;)

we may have some applicable reusable tools for "our web" integration of free video... ping me or come by irc.freenode.net#metavid ...we are also working on FLOSS social video software based on mediaWiki.
