It's almost Tuesday, September 11th AGAIN

September 11th will be on a Tuesday this year for the first time since 2001. Let's hope that all the frightening predictions are nothing.

Today Bin Laden released a new video. Why? Every time we've seen his videos or name splashed across magazines at the news stand, it has been obvious what we were supposed to be scared into doing. 2004 was supposed to scare Americans into voting for Bush. I can't even remember what the other video releases served to accomplish. I know that I wasn't too afraid though. This time, its a little unnerving that this man who has survived kidney disease and managed to stay invisible for 6 years has released a new video, because I can't connect it to what it is supposed to scare America into believing.

A week or two ago, I read how a mystery trader risks losing around $1 billion dollars after placing 245,000 put options on the Dow Jones Eurostoxx 50 index, leading many analysts to speculate that a stock market crash preceded by a new 9/11 style catastrophe could take place within the next month.

The anonymous trader only stands to make money if the market crashes by a third to a half before September 21st, which is when the put options expire. A put option is a financial contract between two parties, the buyer and the writer (seller) of the option, in which the buyer stands to benefit only if the price of the asset falls.
The trader stands to make around $2 billion from their investment should an event trigger a market crash before the third week in September (Prison Planet website). I am considering the source myself and hope its just an exaggerated conspiracy theory.
But, coupled with todays Bin Laden video clip it does add to my uneasiness.

Then if that isn't enough Paul Craig Roberts a Reagan official who was known as the "Father of Reaganomics" gave an interview to the Russian Press in July saying that the the Bush administration is preparing to orchestrate a staged terrorist attack in the United States, transform the country into a dictatorship and launch a war with Iran within a year. Roberts has been an outspoken critic of the Bush administration. He does seem other than that to be a reliable source since he was on Reagan's staff (7-20-07).

All in all for the first time in a long time, I am little more than just disgusted with the war on terror, and the Bush administration, and our government as a whole. For the first time, I'm a little frightened. I hope that's all I'm supposed to be. I think half the country is supposed to fear the Islamic terrorist and those of us who didn't fall for that load of doodoo are supposed to fear Bush and I do. I hope that is satisfactory enough and that nothing more will happen between now and Tuesday or throughout the entire month, or year or ever.
