Death of the SUV
Submitted by bart on Wed, 2008-05-07 10:26.from Global Economics Blog:
As energy prices soar, Frustrated owners try to unload their guzzlers.
Americans are turning away from the boxy, four-wheel-drive vehicles that have for years dominated the nation's highways. Sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks - symbols of Americans' obsession with horsepower, size, and status - are falling out of favor as consumers rich and poor encounter sticker shock at the pump, paying upward of $80 to fill gas tanks.

Submitted by bart on Tue, 2008-05-06 16:18.MODBURY, England — Rebecca Hosking’s moment, when a happy English farm girl cried tears that changed her life, came on a speck of sugar-white beach in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Submitted by The Media Consortium on Tue, 2008-05-06 12:27.By Brian Beutler, The Media Consortium

Obama Let Pastor Wright Live As David Let Saul Live
Submitted by c.rhynes on Fri, 2008-05-02 18:29.United States Presidential Candidate Obama has said enough as far as denouncing Rev. Jeremiah Wright. I believe he is sorrowful for what he has already said.
