Any military occupation is considered temporary in nature; the sovereign title does not pass to the occupant and therefore the occupying powers have to maintain the status quo.

Halito:
Since biasness and discrimination against the Choctaw Nation of Florida tribal members, exist.

We must protect our tribal members and this is a lawful and peaceful way of doing so.

Why were we denied this right?

Are the other tribes here in Florida better than we?

or have more rights, priveleges and immunities than we?

Today I am bringing to your attention an Act of Congress which displaced the Choctaw people and allowed immigrants to fight the Choctaw Indians for lands which where owned
by these Indians.

It called the Armed Occupation Act of 1842,an Act of Congress.
