PeaceLoveHuman: Smilechurch...What are you doing?

organization: PeaceLoveHuman, and what that is, is almost like a religion for the non-religious, an anti-religion in a sense. As that name implies, it is devoted to peace love and humanity, a sort of derivative of humanism if you will. A group of people (close friends mostly as everyone involved become close friends) who don't subscribe to Christianity or any religious system for that matter.
Concerned with knowledge and the realization of the collective Mind through the subjective experience with like-minded people (which should include all people). On Saturday, Smile Church; go downtown with hundreds of popsicles, flowers, or anything and give them away along with a dash of hope and happiness to people and basically be nice to people for no good reason. Create your own Smilechurch and be the creation of something (anything) in a time of destruction.

Bush Vetos Stem Cell Research Bill H.R. 810 Behind Weak Argument

Written by: Aaron M. Watkins (amwphilos)

President George W. Bush announced yesterday that he was to veto a bill allocating federal funds for stem cell research. This being the third bill passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate that Bush has vetoed, it comes a year after an almost identical bill was considered.
The Senate just barely lacks the two thirds majority to contest Bush's veto, but the House is well under the two thirds majority meaning the veto is not likely to be overridden.

As usual, Bush makes little to no sense when citing his reasons behind the veto. In a message to the House of Representatives, released yesterday (June 19, 2007) on the White House's website, Bush writes, "Under the policy I announced 5 years ago, my Administration became the first to make Federal funds available for this research, but only on embryonic stem cell lines derived from embryos that had already been destroyed."

Internet Freedom and Innovation at Risk: Why Congress Must Restore Strong Net Neutrality Protection

From the ACLU

The creation and dynamic growth of the Internet is in part the result of strong Net Neutrality protection. All of that changed in 2005, when the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) suddenly repealed longstanding Internet non-discrimination principles with the blessing of the United States Supreme Court. Since then, the keys to the Internet have been turned over to a handful of profit-driven telecoms and cable companies. Immediate restoration of well-established Net Neutrality principles is necessary to protect freedom and innovation on the Internet.

They Myth Of The "Liberal Media Bias"

(For years, conservatives have pointed to a liberal media bias as the cause of their own failures. In truth, there exists no liberal media bias; in fact, it would be closer to the truth to say there existed a conservative media bias, especially in today's media. This is an article from (http://www.makethemaccountable.com/myth/LiberalMedia.htm) essentially exposing the myth of the liberal media bias for what it really is, a myth.)

Bush Moves Toward Martial Law

(This is an article from an organization called Toward Freedom (towardfreedom.com) about the provisions Bush signed in October of 2006 revising the Insurrection Act which encourages the President to declare martial law. Keep in mind this article was written back in October of 2006. Since then, the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive has been signed into law which places Bush at the head of all three brances of government in the event of a "catastrophic emergency event". These two directives alone spell the beginning of a declaration of coerced martial law, implemented under false or self inflicted threats, through largely unconstitutional laws that somehow slipped by Congress and the rest of the country. WAKE UP AMERICA AND LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE DOING!).
