Washington, July 3 (ANI): Researchers at the University of Granada in Spain have found that sexist jokes favour the mental mechanisms that justify violence and battering against women in individuals with macho attitudes.
The scientists distributed questionnaires among a group of 109 university male students, aged between 18 and 26 years.
The students were shown two series of jokes: one of them with sexist jokes where women were denigrated, and another one with common jokes, without any kind of sexist content.
The researchers then proposed them several scenes with different cases of battering against women, from minor to serious attacks, to ask them how they would react in those kinds of situation.
They observed that the students who had listened to sexist jokes were much more tolerant with male battering than those who had not, this is, that this kind of humour favours the mental mechanisms tolerant with violent behaviour towards women.
However, the researchers warn that the individuals affected by sexist humour showed a previous tendency to tolerate violence against women, as can be gathered from a survey that weighed up sexist attitudes against women.
Some of the items of the scale used by the scientist to measure men's sexist attitudes were: "Deep down, feminist women intend women to be more powerful than men", "Most of the women do not fully appreciate what men do for them" or "There are many women who make sexual insinuations to men and later they reject their advances just to make fun of them." It`s hard to believe men could be like beasts.I am a lesbian and a feminist.Suppose this innocent woman was his sister or his mother and brutally beaten by a man,what would his reaction be?

For a period of 3 years I was with a woman that threw things at me, like a big bread board that almost broke may arm. She would try and load her Winchester and we would wrestle around like in the cowboy movies. Then after we broke up I fell in love with a skinny 6 foot tall woman that would do the same kind of stuff. Once when we were driving home from a party at some friend's home, she grabbed my head with one hand and beat and broke my glasses off my face with the other while I was driving the car and we went into the ditch. When the second one left me for a man who talked her into trying to take my house that I had built before I met her, I thought all woman were that way and there must be something wrong with me; I then had an episode of major depression that landed me in the hospital and almost killed me. Eventually I met a gal that was really kind and sweet like a classic hippy chick all peace loving and nice. We got along well until we got busted for pot and my life was ruined worse by lawyers, prosecutors, jail and men with nazi tattoos all over them. I lost everything to the violent drug war police. I have never hit a woman and the last time I hit a man I was 20 years old and somehow I made it to 52. Although I love men I am not gay, it is not a SEXUAL love. I am not going to degrade and look down upon half the human population of the planet because of two or three woman. I love women and hope to find my soul mate and make a life together with one woman for the rest of my life. We must unite against violence and doing so must happen beyond sexual and racial prejudice.

Have you ever wondered why sometimes there are 2 persons reared and brought up by the same parents ,one has tendencies to evil and one has tendencies of doing the good.
I`m not an expert of Violence or a psychologist.Imagine a good person who was oppressed and tortured before,as he was tortured before,he is going to practice violence on others and would have a certain reaction on the weaker person,because he doesn`t dare to give vent to his anger on the person who is stronger than him.Hurting this innocent woman is an act of scapegoat which he failed to avenge from the man who hurt him,hence this poor woman.
Did you know that consumption of too much meat and dairy products(most are injected with dangerous hormones)are enough to change your mood and temper towards hostility.(This is true).
Meat digestion stays at least 2 or 3 hours in your stomach.
I advise this attacked woman in the picture to sue and persecute the attacker in court.
