mining companies in Guatamala

Hello All,
I'm copying an e-mail I got from a young biologist friend of mine and wondered if someone in the forum could direct me to places that I might be able to get the information he has asked that I help him find.
I'm really new to doing this kind of thing and have no idea where to start. I know the FSTV community has lots of folks with experience in digging for dirt:>) so I would greatly appreciate any advice on where/how to start my search......
