$3 Million Dollar Lawsuit over Blog Post

I'm trying to spread the word about a $3 million dollar lawsuit that was brought against me by a corporation after I blogged about a televised news report that I had seen about them (I even included a link to the report hosted on the TV networks site).

I wrote the post in October of 2005 and was served with a lawsuit on December 1, 2005 (without any prior communication from the corporation). It's an extremely frivolous lawsuit and I recognize that, however, when dealing with matters of free speech even the most frivolous lawsuits pose potential large scale threats to the public's willingness to express opinions (even if they are negative). Additionally, as someone who is reasonably young (24) and economically disadvantaged this lawsuit is even more damaging since I don't have the resources necessary to hire professional legal assistance and have thus been forced into a pro se defense.

I'm trying to raise awareness about this lawsuit (and others like it) so that:

1) Bloggers are aware of the risks

2) In hopes that eventually the online community will start taking more proactive measures against lawsuits of this type to protect weak individuals AND free expression on the net

All of the pleadings for the case are available here
