The members of the Siletz Tribe have repeatedly approached their elected leaders, asking for transparency, with no success.

Efforts to uncover excessive and reckless spending of gaming revenue are beginning to surface. In reaction the elected leaders voted to spend $300,000 on a "Positive Image" campaign.

Efforts to do a hand counting sample of Tribal election ballots were denied.

Efforts to prevent government officials from destroying audio records of meetings were also denied.

Members are denied presence at "economic development" meetings, where elected leaders spend millions of dollars. Elected leaders deny members to view documents regarding business endeavors, and loan documents, even though these government representatives are using the Tribal resources (timber revenue/gaming revenue) as collateral.

To date almost 24 economic ventures stand defunct, or rusting, having made no profit. Employees collect salaries, with little regard for the fact that they do not successfully accomplish goals/objectives, nobody is held accountable for this waste, misuse of authority/tribal revenue, or fraud in some cases.

Members go without health care, while elected leaders hire friends and family as consultants, without advertising positions, or give "comps" to friends and family members (this controls voting in Tribal elections).

Government representatives meet in secret "Executive Session" with attorneys, to discuss how to change laws, which enable them to gain power and control, leaving little or no recourse for the tribal members who they actually serve.

We respectfully ask for support from other like minded parties and individuals who would seek to create a structure that is transparent and accountable.

I too would care to voice my thanks for those who have the time, ambition and desire to aid in the awakening of the sleeping multitude. The stirring has begun, the actions are yet to bear substantial fruit... no time for frustration, and venting publicly gets you all too "noticed"... still, when your heart of hearts says stand up, do you find your feet?

We are no longer "few and far between", just niave as to the legnths some are prepared to go to gain the Facist Dictatorship, America was founded to prevent. I too have had Ancestors/Relatives die in defense of freedoms given away today, simply because they were told to so in order to be safe. Movements are just begining to learn the value of instant gratification through internet. You can reach many at once, all they must do is shed blinders and shackles, clear their ears and thought processes, achieve action through conserted effort... oh yeah, I forgot I hopelessly refered to the easily led sheeple who are content wearing the label "worthless eater" gifted them by their "betters"... and that is no reference to gambling, except with your future (so to speak).

Bravo!!

Where is the "Library" for those who would bother to learn? The information is out there!

"They" cannot keep it all a secret anymore!

No one has to stay "dummied down", regardless of the Politically Correct Indoctrination Centers (Public Schools, house children until time to "use" them. They are not taught to think, rather memorize and recite... the closer to verbatium, the better the score), the needlessly incarcerated (who are then recruited by folks you don`t even want to imagine, much less have their "trainees" released to do bidding of those who will never see "outside" again).

Geez, make it financially improbable to get a "legitimate" education so you rebel... then the rebelion gifting the education getting caught with a small amount of marijuana can get you... plus learning to be heartless, cruel, demeaning and demanding, you know, just what you want moving in next door to your kids... assuming they aren`t one of the one`s moving in next door.

The Single Parent Family is no longer the exception... who`s fault? I am not qualified to point that finger. I do however have to exist with the product of that environment... the lying, the theft, the irresponsible actions of a spoiled youth bored beyond understanding.

I offer my excuse for the ramble... I don`t often go off like that anymore. Folks tend to look at you funny when you show passion for humanity rather than entertainment.

Just be aware:

You cannot "unlearn" any of the truth once exposed. The best you will allow yourself will be differing degrees of denial (Naw, he`s crazy! My Government would not do that. That doesn`t make sense!) or your need to find your own "soapbox" to further the word. With the amount of data bases you are already on, now is not the time to "public display" that which has tweeked your ire.

I welcome any response, and will treat all with the same respect, regardless of your opinion pro or con.
