How do you create a profile exactly? I can't find anything on how.

Create a profile
Click on "my account" (upper right menu item)and this will give you access to your account(profile)information. Click the "edit" tab and you will be able to add information to your profile.

In an effort to create a group with purpose and integrity we would like to encourage all group members take the time to complete a profile. While some of you have already done so...and will notice that you have been added to our "buddy" list...quite a few still have not. Please take the time to do this! It lends credibility to our cause and lets us know that you are serious about your participation in our group. We will continue to check profiles and hope you will consider completing your profile soon.
