About the Show:

This exuberant and paradoxical musical explores a retail behemoth that brings the good life at bargain prices to millions of working Americans, sells half the groceries in Mexico, and opens a store a week in China. It also famously underpays workers, wastes spectacular amounts of fossil fuel, adds mountains of trash to the world’s landfills, destroys small merchants and drives manufacturing jobs overseas. Amid the laughter and songs, you'll also find yourself asking: do we all share the joy of selling more of everything, cheaper? And if so, what's in store for the future?
