Please Purge Your Subscriber Lists Of Spam Posters
Dear fstv community group owners/managers/moderators,
Please check your subscriber lists against the list here and purge these people from your groups, they are SPAMMING the forums of our groups and need to be eliminated from our midst. I have already checked my lists....these people are not subscribed to my group yet they are posting their SPAM on my forums topics. Please take the time to address this issue, it is our responsibility as group owners/managers/moderators to keep SPAM off our groups forums. This is not a freedom of speech issue, this is a respect & consideration issue. Please help us protect the integrity and purpose of this online community. I have started a specific forum topic for this issue on my group, I will be adding a new list of names each day until they stop posting SPAM on the forums. Please check with the topic in my group forum to get updated information on SPAM subscribers. I am asking that if you find any of these SPAM posting subscribers in your subscriber lists that you "unsub" them immediately. They are using our forums to post their SPAM adverts.

Purging potential/known SPAMMERS
(((((KODA)))))) Where have you been my friend?! You are sooooo LATE!
We had a terrible phase where the fstv community groups became very easy targets for SPAMMERS. I still deny tens of them a week. I have adopted a preventative stance by requiring potential subscribers to have a complete profile page. You will notice I denied your new sub request because there was no profile page available to it, and I knew it was you and your already subscribed to my group. I usually give 24 hours from the time a subscription request is made, to provide them time to do so. In these posts you will find all the non profile ID's that requested subscriptions from me. Whether they would have spammed or not I can not say for sure, but this was just a very easy & efficient means by which to weed out those who were not serious about their participation in the community & it's groups. Others have taken their own approaches, I think mine is probably the most aggressive, but I have no SPAMMERS amongst my subscribers and I am more satisfied with the quality of my subscribers than the quantity.
So you can purge your own subscriber lists by going through and checking to see who has a profile & who doesn't, what kind of posts they have contributed and the ones who have posted OBVIOUS SPAM can just be unsubscribed manually. I changed our group policy and then emailed my group subscribers to inform them of the change and why it was done. I gave everyone a few weeks to get their profile done and reminded them when they had a week left until I would unsub any without profiles. this policy is also clearly written into our group introduction.
