Not on My Watch

To those who read this posting of "Not on My Watch" I hope and pray that you will grasp the importance of "Cleaning House."

Since the attacks on the World Trade Center we have slowly lost certain rights that have been around for 200 plus years.

These three Historical documents become the bases for how we are to govern.

The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, and The Declaration of Independence have meaning and purpose for me, and should have for you as well. These practical individuals feared men the most and not laws, Checks and balances were provided for a reason! No one man could run the government the way he saw fit unless he, at the least, took into consideration what those he governed saw.

The House of Representatives would be the people's eyes.

The Senate would be the corrective force on that House.

An executive would do the work, and hold the Constitution to his chest like his child.

The Supreme Court would oversee it all.
Checks and balances.

I challenge you in the days, weeks and months to make a stand, write a letter to your leaders (local, state, and federal) expressing how you feel, protest, boycott and by all means speak your opinion, your mind and let your voice be heard.

The war in Iraq is illegal and unjust, thousands practically children are losing their lives daily, don't get me wrong the brave men and women that volunteered thinking that this was the right and just thing to do did so in good conscience. and, most importantly, that the other guy, whose opinion about this he cannot comprehend, has exactly the same right as we do: to think -- and say -- what his mind and his heart and his conscience tell him, is right. Wolf has been cried too many times, and the sky is falling.
