President Obama Tour Seeking Peace and Rev. Martin L. King Jr. "You can't Win this War on Hate by hating other folks!"

While watching our 44th President of the United States on his most recent tour to many countries of the world, I was extremely HAPPY, to see a MAN, from our beloved country who finally understands: that when one is trapped in a burning house, the earth, in an automobile, or when one’s child is drowning.

It makes little or no difference in one's religious persuasion, background, nation, political party affiliation, conservative or liberal, white supremacists or black supremacists. On the battlefield of time, in the struggle for survival, these small insignificant things diminish into the sunset of the immediate good of a nation, people, and world.

I believe that the critics of Obama will soon understand that in death, the earth opens up, and receives us all—without debate or question. It matters not if we are liberal or conservative, Christian or Muslim, Black or white, rich or chocking on broke. Death, declares us all free and equal. Then mother earth guarantees our inheritance, to a peaceful earth----WITHOUT discrimination.

Every human being should learn something from the earth’s diversity, in that it accepts people of all races, nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures. This is the only way, that America can be called, in truth, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty, and justice for all her citizens.

So where are the Christian theologians, and why can they not be heard standing and supporting President Obama? He stands on the threshold of trying to bring the governments of the world together, and form a more perfect world, so we can study war no more.

We must understand that before the crucifixion of Jesus, He gave the world a rule, and guide to live by. “Except your righteousness, shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, except you love your enemies and do good to them that hate you, except you first pull the mote out of your own eye, then how you pull the mote out of thou brothers eye?”

Yet there are those among us who criticized Obama for simply highlighting the mistakes of our beloved nation---while he was overseas. But I remind you that America was the one that labeled other nations as “The Axis of Evil" therefore; Obama does not want America to be that which we call others.

We must be mindful that God sent us a great prophet in our times, by the name of Rev. Martin L. King Jr and he proclaimed to the world much like President Barack Obama, and I quote: (Rev. Martin L. King Jr.)

“We’re not going to win this battle of hate and terror by hating other folks. Hate doesn’t help the hater and it doesn’t help the person who hates. There is something about hate that hurts the hater. Somebody must have the power to transform through love. You just hate somebody and you are as uncomfortable and as frustrated as the person you are hating.

There is something about hate that keeps you from walking straight; something about hate that keeps you from standing up straight. And when you hate you can’t see straight. When you hate, you lose your power of objectivity. When you hate somebody, you can’t see them.

When you hate strong enough, the ugly becomes beautiful and the beautiful becomes ugly. A good speech becomes a bad speech, and a bad speech becomes a good speech. When you hate strong enough, hair pins begin to sell for $1,000.00 and diamond rings for 5 cents, because that’s a wrong price tag on things. There is something about hate that does something to the hater and so our way must be a way of love.” Unquote.

I believe President Barack Obama has seen a great light, likened unto the light Rev. Martin L. King Jr. saw while up on the mountain top; it is likened unto the light Apostle Paul saw while traveling along the Damascus road, that changed his life forever more.

And the light that shines from the words that Obama gives has been hidden---for too long in our world. So I say to all OBAMA HATERS, please understand that HATE is a weapon of mass destruction, so don’t participate in HATE. In the end, HATE is going to destroy itself. [G.B.R.]
