Laramore Charges Dropped
Ryder Laramore Charges Dismissed

Former State Attorney Steve Meadows dropped all four charges against Ryder Laramore prior to leaving office. Court records show the one felony and three misdemeanor charges were all dismissed on December 19, 2008.

A Jackson County sheriff's deputy stopped Laramore on September 23 for suspicious drunk driving on Highway 231.

The Marianna native was wearing women's clothing, a blonde wig and had a bottle of vodka sitting in plain sight in the car.

Officers searched the car and found a small bag containing methamphetamine and marijuana. They also found a small glass pipe, a pistol and a probation officers badge.

Deputies arrested Laramore for D-U-I after he failed three sobriety tests.

Bay County sheriff's office charged him with D-U-I, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

Laramore was working as a Probation Officer at the time of his arrest. He is the son of Public Defender Herman Laramore.
