Republican Fraudian Slips

Congressman Westmoreland [R] Georgia referred the Obamas as 'uppity'. I suppose he believes that people like the Obamas should 'know their place'? Does he realize or even care that there is only one noun used in conjunction with the adjective 'uppity'? Is he just saying what most on the Far Right believe? Just who elected this guy? Is his district lily-white? Who keeps sending him back to Congress? Would we all be better off if his little part of Georgia would just secede from the Union -again?

Speaking of secession, I hear that quite a few Alaskans belong to the Independence Party, including Mr. and Mrs. Sarah Palin. I don't ever want to hear this woman utter the word 'Patriot' or any derivative thereof when she's on the stump- and the Media should be all over her like flies on a carcass if she does.

Does anyone here believe that if Sarah Palin was Samuel Palin that he'd be the VP candidate? Not a chance.

Finally, a huge Fraudian slip by Tom Ridge while being questioned by Tom Brokaw of [MS]NBC-

Ridge was asked why the Republicans deserve 4 more years.
His reply: 'Because John Bush ....because John McCain is very much his own man.....'
