Something I think everyone should stop and think about!

Let me start off by saying that there are only two things I happen to be ANTI they are Lies and Ignorance. After reading or hearing about this I'm sure there will be some who will call me Anti-American or Anti-Government. Those people couldn't be more wrong. I served in the Army for four years. I also spent fifteen years as a military dependant and grew up in a right wing household. Our government started out by saying they were to be elected by the people for the people however that isn't how it's being ran today. I hope what I have to say makes people stop and think if for only a brief moment in time. How would any of us feel if another country came here to the United States and told us they were placing an embassy here on this soil. Then told us there's nothing we could do about it. Unfortuneately this is what our government is doing other nations on a daily basis around the world. How can a country that refuses to take care of it's own citizens be expected to take care of the rest of the world. Democracy doesn't work when the RICH FAT CATS are running the daily operations of this country. Our citizens are dying before they should because the average person can't afford the cost of living coupled with the added burden of not having some kind of Universal Healthcare System. Now wait we can't allow that to happen in this country. Our current system is for the most part ran by big business and the Pharmaceutical companies. Europe has a Universal healthcare system and it works there. There's only one reason it hasn't happened yet. It would level the playing field so that the rich wouldn't keep getting richer while the rest of us wither away. Not having a level playing field with healthcare, education and the economy only breeds anger, hatred, hostility and feelings of resentment. Which in turn leads to higher violence and crime rates. It adds more distrust issues home and abroad. Unfortunately two major issues facing this country today most people could careless about. The U.S is second in the world behind China in releasing toxins into the air, which has a hand in Global Warming. Second the U.S is leading the way by using Brute Military Force to gain control over other nation's way's of life as well as STEALING their natural resources such as fossil fuels like over in the middle east WHERE WE DON'T BELONG. Where is the the U.S Government at when it comes to third world nations who aren't wealthy in natrual resources. I'll tell you virtually non-existant. I for one tend to believe that the forefathers of this country would start another revolution because of all of the injustices today. Maybe we as Americans can still change the image that the rest of the world has of us. That would require every single one of us to become more responsible for ourselves. The excuses of being misinformed, uninformed, or underinformed can't be tolerated any longer. We are held accountable by the rest of the world for what our foreign policies and elected/appointed officals do, as well we should be. For if not for our actions they wouldn't have the chance to do these things. I hope the next time people go to the polls and vote they will actually put some thought into it. We need to do what's right for the whole human race instead of alwasys thinking about ourselves. We need to start standing up for our constitutional rights and stop allowing them to strip them from us. Maybe if enough people start asking questions and stop accepting generic answers our NARROW MINDED elected officals will have to get down off their high horses and start taking care of their responsibilities that they took an oath to do. We as American citizens need to take a stand against the tyranny that's happening here in our own nation. For those who might not know tyranny means:ANY AUTHORITY, GOVERNMENT, ECT OF A TYRANT. CRUEL AND UNJUST USE OF POWER. Our elected officals use the words TERRORISM and TERRORIST like the wind changes direction. I wonder just how many of them know what those words mean. If so they are HIPPOCRATES because the words mean: THE FORCE OF OR THREATS TO INTIMIDATE ESPECIALLY AS A POLITICAL POLICY. Ladies and Gentelmen I give you our UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT. One last thing I would like to send a shout out to the IVAW The Iraq Veterans Against the War. I stand behind you. Please help to bring all of our soldiers stationed around the wolrd home.
