These are the links for the most recent stories in the local Gannet owned corporate rag which naturally said the non-violent demonstrators who were marching down a highway with a police escort were putting others in harms way when the police suddenly changed their mind about giving them the escort and decided to riot instead perhaps as a memorial to Bull Connor's attack on Martin Luther King.

President Bush this morning held another speech in which he blandly repeated pieces of his old speeches. My question is, how the hell didi the American people get themselves in this much of a predicament? Who didnt predict this from the beginning?
