At it reaches its six year anniversary, we will march once again in resistance against the illegal and immoral invasion & occupation of Iraq, as well as the continued occupation of Afghanistan.
Although President Obama has always been clear about his intention to expand the war in Afghanistan, he initially promised to end the war in Iraq, a promise which it now seems he does not intend to keep. We will march in opposition to both wars and all wars of imperialism and neo-colonialism.
Join us at Buckley Park, 12th St. & Main Ave. in Durango, CO, at 3:30 PM on Friday, March 20th, 2009. We will march to the train station and back, starting at 4PM. Bring signs, banners, flags, sound systems, drums, musical instruments, noise makers, your friends, family, & lovers, & your indomitable spirit of resistance. See you in the streets!
