spread the herb
THE MARIJUANA-LOGUES is a "hit" unlike anything you have ever seen. Catch the buzz as writers and performers Arj Barker, Doug Benson and Tony Camin riff on the rites and rituals of pot and regale the crowd with the highs and lows of marijuana.

Told from all points of view from hazy to highbrow, THE MARIJUANA-LOGUES never loses the pot...er point, demonstrating that the stories surrounding the bud are as varied as those who indulge. THE MARIJUANA-LOGUES sets herb centerstage, delving into fact and fiction, myths and misnomers alike. Not since the 60s has there been such an exploration of this oft-taboo but totally titillating topic.

Disclaimer: This production does not glorify drug use. Rather, it illustrates that cannabis culture is a thing of substance, humor and creativity.

Hmm, I wish this were true
Hmm, I wish this were true although I doubt that marijuana culture creative and humoring. This production doesn't glorify drug use but it probably promotes it simply by mentioning it. There are a lot of controversies about the drugs and I think that because it has a confusing legal status: it's illegal but not for all. As a Cliffside counselor I learned in time that there is no such a thing as a good drug, all those illegal drugs are illegal for a reason, they don't have to be lethal to make them illegal, when will we start acting responsibly about this? I only hope this production is teaching kids a lesson on pot...

Number one: I highly disagree with your drug law philosophy. The first point I now make in my response concerning your diatribe against people who choose to use marijuana is that it is a natural herb that humankind has known about and used for thousands of years. It is prohibition of use of natural herbs through criminalization that is a new crime that certain humans have perpetrated upon mankind. Marijuana used for medicinal or spiritual effects was found in a 2700 year old tomb: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28034925/?gt1=43001
After years of ruining peoples lives under false pretenses, initiated by dubious US government officials, who were openly prejudice against Mexican Americans and African Americans; the US government now holds a patent on Marijuana claiming that they own its antioxidant and neuroprotectant properties that lessen the effects of aging and have improved many people's lives: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=6,630,507.PN.&OS=PN/6,630,507&RS=PN/6,630,507
Number two: Even if the points I made in number one were not so, and marijuana caused such great harm to people that they needed medical attention, the use of drugs is still not a criminal matter. I find your statements that advocate criminal sanctions for drug use to be hypocritical and unprofessional, when you judge the people you claim to be helping as criminals, I feel that you yourself are being a sadistical, self serving money grabbing criminal. If people get sick from exercising their fundamental right to the control of their minds and bodies through the use of natural herbs, as a medical professional, you would help them without criminalizing them. The criminality stigma you are installing upon them certainly is more detrimental to them than any actual help you give them while you help yourselves to their money.
Number three: Unless "Cliffside" is a non profit 501(c)(3) you have no business advertising your drug war profiteering firm here at FSTV. I normally mark your comments as spam when they contain hyperlinks to you private for-profit company or else I delete them. This time I'm telling you that: above all freedom of speech and the ability to debate, to agree to disagree respectfully, may be the most important method though which humankind may evolve and grow toward our truly infinite, immortal potential. So now I’m asking you nicely to remove the hyperlink from you posted response and I’m inviting you to debate the drug war and the positive or negative affects drugs including natural herbs have had on our human family of the entire Earth. I will patiently wait a few days for your response.
Thank You.
