Under threat of arrest or being SHOT

The problem has been solved. Dharma returned 4 hour into being allowed to stay in the neighborhood after dark.

Thanks to all who called on my behave. Sorry to need your support. I was all alone down there and was far more terrorified of having them impound and inventory (keep) my home (bus) than I was about being arrested or shot.

I met @MarkMayhew in Galveston when I took my veggie bus there with a generator and satellite internet to both help out & report back.

He immediately latched onto me and I thought it might be a good match as my bus is meant to facilitate not only my journalism but that of other independent journalists as well.

He presented himself as someone who had gone to New Orleans after
Katrina "to help" as did I

and he had a laptop and broadband card and had been on the ground in Galveston a couple weeks already.

I allowed him to stay on my bus 1 night because he no longer wanted to work construction for 4 hours a day for a room in a hotel.

The next day we traveled together in my bus to document some
destruction... chase down xpresidents Bush & Clinton etc..

In that one day together I witnessed him seeking out hurricane victim freebies at every chance
(I had come prepared to be fully self sustained for several weeks).

After jumping off the bus to get some red cross dinners saying "there's 16 of us on the bus, right". He spilled 2 of the 6 red cross dinners he scored for himself on my bus seats and while continuously saying "i gotta clean that up" DIDN'T clean it up for several hours even though I repeatedly showed him where the cleaning supplies were.

He also put me in a week long predicament because he let my cat jump off the bus in a neighborhood that was extremely uptight and wanted us arrested for looting before they had to SHOOT us.
(Residents lied to the police to prevent us, me really, from filming the debris) I finally was able to resolve the problem but not until my cat had been out in toxic debris running from coyotes for 4 days.

This video rallyed enough call in support to convince the police I was honorable.

Then he started bad mouthing me on Twitter because I had seen no
value in the types of things he was trying to get me to spend my time and resources covering, constantly tried to tell me how to do what I've been doing very well for 7 years now and I had to ask him to get his things off the bus so that I could do the work I'd gone there to do.

Now he's started this new twitter acct.
@FluxRectrum and is engaging respectable journalists with it in a very unflattering way; trying to undermine my work.

I have contacted twitter support in hopes to rectify this situation and really am going to try to ignore the spiteful little poser until twitter can take care of him for me.

Galveston has really left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm more than a little disappointed in most of the people I've met here. I feel like a fool for spending my time and money to help them.
