Valdosta City Council Meeting, (Jail Deaths), Local Media, and Memorial Day Veterans Suffering along with their parents

During the Valdosta City Council Monthly Meeting on May 22, 2008, during the citizens to be heard portion of the meeting, I asked the mayor and council members, if they knew the name, age, cause of death, and type of investigation being done concerning the alleged suicide death of an inmate who died in the Valdosta-Lowndes County Jail sixty-one days ago, on March 17, 2008?

Then I asked, if anybody cared about their fellow human beings in our community? I informed the council of the 19 to 25 deaths that has occurred in or surrounding our jail for whatever reasons, and what was being done to stop this lost of human life? http://community.freespeech.org/node/3872

Moreover, I informed the mayor and council that the mother and sister of the deceased inmate from Miami had called me concerning their love ones death. Then I informed the council that there are still a few citizens in Valdosta with a conscious that cares about their fellow human beings. No matter if they are Black, White, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Republican or Democrat.

But as usual, NO reply was given from these elected officials concerning the inmate’s death or the 19 to 25 other deceased Americans, many of whom were American Veterans.

These are the elected officials now serving the people of our beloved community, and the needs of our children.

COUNTY ELECTED BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ARE: Rodney N. Casey, J. Edgar Roberts, Richard C. Lee, G. Robert Carter,

Even though, a local Valdosta City councilman lost his own brother in the Valdosta-Lowndes County Jail for whatever reasons, and a reply should have been given as a courtesy to him.

Then to add insult to injury our media failed to inform the citizens of our community about what took place at this public meeting within the State of Georgia. Even though many of the deceased inmates were American Veterans who served their nation with honor and distinction. How sad, as we pay tribute to members of our armed forces?

So once again the people of Valdosta and South Georgia will be unable to make intelligent decisions based on facts. Thanks to a media and elected officials, who seems to keep the people of our community deaf, dumb, and blind to the times. As it, relates to the pain, and sufferings of family member’s grief in our metropolitan metropolis.

Again, how sad, in the 21st Century of our republic? God bless America, all members of our armed forces wherever they are, and everybody else.

Following the State of Georgia NAACP, Press Conference at the Lowndes County Jail on July 5, 2006 at 1:00pm by President Edward DuBose. Three family members and an associate of the family made another death known. This deceased inmate name is WITHHELD out of respect to the family. However, it is public record and has been verified.

18. Black Male, Name Known: However I await after 64 days for the local media to release his name, age, cause of death, and why it took so long to for the m to release this American Citizen's name to the general public.
(Reported cause of death, alleged suicide, mother and sister Lucy, called me from Miami concerning their love ones death) We all have a right to know after 64 plus days. He was in the hands of professional Lowndes County law enforcement. But who cares about these American Citizens, many of whom were American Veterans. But who cares?
