We live in a Republic not a Democracy
Such sweet poetic irony,
Such sweet poetic irony, that uneducated nonsense such as this is posted in the education section. A pure democracy is an inefficient nightmare, however a democratic republic is hardly better. Such petty squabbling that occurs in congress ensures that nothing beneficial happens and society stagnates. What we need is a strong central government ruled by an executive branch.
