You want some good hate?
Thank, God. I'm glad. And you're right, this is the best democracy this planet has.
If ever there was a quote that signifies Imperialist Regime, self-congratulatory thoughtlessness - this one takes the prize.

bush was not elected by the majority of americans, far from it. most americans didn't bother to vote or were not allowed to.
If 10 people out of 100 announce they have defined the rules of the game and then announce 'democratic' elections, and only 20 people vote, what authority do they have? 80 people chose to ignore them.
and aside from that nicety, bushco merely stole another election by fraud [see ohio and florida].
If there was any meaningful justice in this world, then bush & cronies would have to stand trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
read your history.. the USA was not founded as a democracy - it destroyed democracy. The people had far more freedom under the articles of confederation than after the constitution written and imposed by a few elites - Madison was terrified of that concept and designed the USA system to prevent equality and democracy. He designed it to protect the power, purse and privilege of the 'opulent minority', and he did it well for that purpose.
And aside from the vote tally fraud, what made the count close was the fake 'news' releases. Rememeber the 'azzam the american al ciada' hoax 3 days before the election? Just who do you suppose was behind that? That, falsified fear mongering more than anything is what drove the stupid voters into the bush pen.
And what do they get? another handout to cheney-co halliburton.. of some 300+ million to build concentration camps. ... to house problematic people like protestors and those who dare resist the state-sponsored terriorism being carried on by bushco.
dems are nearly as bad.. as they too are serving the corporate classes interests more than that of the working class.
It all just a good-cop/bad-cop joke anymore, all downhill from here, until the people start to unlearn and deprogram. But that's no where in sight.. so the NWO is safe.

Remember, Hitler had a peaceful transition into power also.
He was elected after the opposition was labeled un-patriotic, Nazi reporters and newspapers lied to the public, and the questionable election was decided in his favor by Nazi's politicians and judges who were already in the government. He also ran on morality and religion. Then when he was in power, he lied to the German people so he could invade Poland. History focuses on the Holocaust. But persecution of the Jews was only part of Hitler and the Corporate strategy to dominate Europe.
The other day somebody complained that Liberals call Republicans Nazi's. Well, if you act like a Nazi and emulate their strategies, then you're a Nazi. . . Case closed.

I don't hate Bush or the Republicans that voted for him. I think there are a lot of people that are really upset after this election, and are just venting. I think they will come around accept it. I have, this is the best democracy this planet has, and anytime we can have a peaceful change of power, it sets a good example for the world.

Maybe Bush (and Kerry) did it a little bit, but nobody has more voting talent than Chicago. Enough of that.
Trust me, the killing of Iraqi civilians means a helluva lot to me. I wish it would have meant a lot more to the US government in the 80s when we foolishly backed Hussein. I wish it would have meant a lot more to the European governments of the 90s when they tried to get the US to ease up on sanctions, knowing that bastard Hussein would line his pockets (big time) with any money sent Iraq's way. I wish it would currently mean a lot more to the Muslim religious who could (and in many cases do not) see that terrorists like bin Laden and Zarqawi are doing their work for themselves not for Islam.
I have no argument that President Bush is using his convictions (religious and otherwise) to promote policy. All politicians do, both good and bad. But I've never felt he was pushing his religion as policy. I would never have voted for him if he had. I would be a pariah to many Republicans because I do believe in a total separation of church and state. I will leave this post with this question (which I've asked before). I've just stated that Bush is trying to establish policy based on his convictions, even religious ones, as a person and how he's lived. Yet, he is accused by some as pushing religion down the country's throat. There is no state religion in this country, never was, never will be (at least that's what I want). Why is it that the socially liberal European Nations have state religions, what purpose does it serve, and what would happen if those nations decided against having a state religion?

If all I've said before means nothing, then consider this. 99.9% of the people who voted for President Bush, just like the 99.9% of the people who voted for Senator Kerry, want to get through the struggle of life, to make a living, to raise a family. There are way more similarities between the voters than there are differences. It is just how they want the government to handle policies that is the main difference. How can that be wrong in a society that prides itself on free speech and innovative thought? It's not what we say here that matters; those that trudge on through life are the ones who will endure.

Well, now I’ve heard everything and I can’t stand it anymore. Most of you talk about you hate Bush and everything he stands for. You hate the majority of your fellow countrymen, whom you don’t even know, for voting for Bush. We who voted for Bush are all ignorant and intolerant rednecks trying push our morality on everyone. (By the way, I live in the Chicago suburbs, nowhere near the sticks.) At the same time, the most vocal anti-American Islamofascists still call us the Great Satan. I guess we can’t please anybody. But all this vehement hatred, to the point where some say it would be good for this country to be nuked. I heard in the news the other day some guy was so distraught over the election he killed himself at Ground Zero. Well, now it’s my turn to spout some of that same hate. And I can’t be shut up because there’s no one to stop me from typing. So, nyah, nyah, nyah!!! Of course, you can stop reading, but that would be your loss.
Here’s one thing I hate. I’m so sick of seeing penny-ante Muslim clerics and scholars slinking out of the woodwork and into the news issuing fatwas to commit violence against the infidels in the name of Islam. Where do the media dig these losers up, anyway? I’ve never heard of a more hypocritical or irresponsible group of religious figures since the Catholic Church tried to cover-up their child abuse scandal. And what’s worse is how many Muslims actually believe the trash their preaching. These are nothing more than petty tyrants who go nuts when they see a camera rolling, and then all of the copycats come out to spill the same filfth. And nobody ever hears a goddammed Islamic moderate or group of moderates coming out against all of this. Then you hear these idiots spouting how we are mounting a Crusade against Islam. BULLSHIT!!! Can anyone imagine the kind of negative press some Christian preacher would get if they even said the word “crusade”? They would, forgive the pun, be crucified. If anyone bothered to read about these putrid small-minded individuals, they would find out that the most ridiculous of these religious people are actually very bigoted people. If they were white Americans, they would be ridiculed as members of the KKK. And there are people in this country who actually believe that this is the voice of Islam. What a load of garbage. Did these same people believe the Catholic Church when they said that there was no cover-up of their child abuse scandal (coming back to this point)? My guess is that is not the case, especially because of the publicity, lawsuits, and since the Church has taken a very small measure to admit a measure of responsibility. Why is this not the case with the looniest of the Muslim clergy? Fuck these abusers of their authority, fuck these bastards. These are small, inconsequential versions of bin Laden, Zawahiri, Zarqawi, and Hussein. I’m planning on planting ten-foot poles on my front lawn for decoration. I’d like to top these poles with their heads and watching their filfth drip into the ground to fertilize my lawn. I'll invite anyone to come over to see this, at know charge. I'll even provide small projectiles (tomatoes, eggs, stones) that can be used to test your skill; hit the dead terrorist's head and win a prize.
I hear Yasser Arafat had a brain hemorrhage and is close to dying. I’m sorry a human being is dying, but when? His death, in the short term, may mean either a small hike in the violence the Israelis and Palestinians have inflicted on each other, or it may allow the voices of reason among the Palestinians to finally have a say. In the long term, Arafat’s death will allow the Palestinians the ability to determine their own fate without relying on the terrorists or the Israelis. I mean, who else but Ariel Sharon would come out in favor of removing any, ANY, Jewish settlement on Palestinian land? Of course, somebody out there, maybe Michael Moore even, might say that Bush gave Sharon a toxic flu shot to give to Arafat. Yeah, right. Anyway, I’m still trying to figure out when Arafat went from freedom fighter (if he ever was one) to a true terrorist gang leader. I still remember when he and Yitzhak Rabin stood on the White House lawn with Bill Clinton and they actually shook hands as they agreed to the Oslo accords. After working out an arrangement with Ehud Barak, what does that piece of shit (Arafat) do? Double crosses everyone. He had the best deal he was going to get at the time and he totally gives it to everyone right in the ass. Had he taken the deal, who knows, maybe some of the other issues Palestinians have might have been discussed with the Israeli government. We’ll never know since that didn’t happen. Arafat, in some megalomaniacal haze, thought his position as absolute ruler over the Palestinians was threatened. So everyone suffers just so he can be king. Isn’t that great? And what do the Israelis do? They vote Barak and the Labor party out of office and vote in Likud with Sharon as Prime Minister. He’s the excuse Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Arafat’s Al Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade need to begin murdering Israelis (and when convenient, other Palestinians). Arafat does nothing to stop it, in fact encourages it. Then when the Israelis strike back, he saps it up for those suck-ups at the UN (Annan, Chirac), crying “Look at those big, bad Israelis attacking us, attacking me. Poor, poor, pitiful me.” And these idiots chastise Israel. We have a phrase at work for this type of situation, a Number 4. Clusterfuck. That’s what Arafat’s done to the Palestinians, the Israelis, the Mideast, the US. I hear he’s close to dying. When?
I also keep hearing how social justice is dead with Bush re-elected and a Republican majority in both Houses of Congress. I’ve seen first-hand what social justice is when it comes to the Democrats, and that’s here in Illinois. Every single Chicago Democratic House member was re-elected, including the successor to Bill Lipinski, his son. In fact, Lipinski said his son would be his successor about a month or so before he was elected. So his election was merely a rubber stamp to Lipinski. Barak Obama’s election to the Senate means a Chicago Democrat is on his way to Washington. Another Chicago Democrat, Rod Blagojevich (bla-goh-yay-vich), is Governor of Illinois. Then there are the 50 alderman, mostly Democrats (if not all). And Mayor Daley himself. He discussed his 2005 budget yesterday and surprise, surprise, there’s not enough money. It’s funny. He gets really pissed off when people question him on this or the scandals within the city government, like the current trucking scandal, or the scandal that saw 19-year olds become building inspectors. Or does anyone know or care this shit is happening? So, Daley says that there has to be increases in the hotel tax, the liquor tax, the events tax, and, most importantly, the city sales tax which is currently at 8.75% and he will raise it to 9%. Of course, he neglects to say which programs he will cut to assist in the balancing of the budget. He also plans on instituting another level of management into the city government, to oversee projects and keep out the patronage the city government is famous for. This will cost the taxpayers about a million dollars and, oh, these will be non-union positions. What he will do later on is cut about 1200 union jobs in the name of balancing the budget. It’s a wonder he doesn’t run a corporation, huh, you know, kind of like how the Clintons did? He was, after all, able to lease for 99 years the Chicago Skyway, a tollway connecting Illinois with Indiana, to an Australian firm for $2B. Of course, those dollars aren’t being earmarked for the current budget. In fact, nobody knows where that money is going yet. After all that, he’ll go whine and cry to the state and to the Federal government that Chicago needs more money for this program and that program. I get to help pay for the city’s budget, even though I don’t live in the City of Chicago and have no vote, no say, in how the city is run and managed. By the way, neither do any of you who don’t live there. But you get to help pay for these services. Isn’t that great? And people talk about conspiracies about how Bush gets elected. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, BULLSHIT!!! Chicago is still the king of questionable election practices and still votes Democrat all the way, just like it has for nearly 50 years. I’m wondering how many times each of the million or so voters in the city voted for Kerry, Obama, Lipinski, and the other Democrats that retained or gained an office seat? And it won’t change anytime soon; each alderman and the Mayor will win re-election during the next city elections. And then they’ll keep crying how there’s not enough money in the budget. I’ve dealt long enough with this kind of shitty social justice, throwing good money at bad and I’m sick of it.
